Now that the customer's house is complete, I would like to congratulate you on a job well done.
 
It is not often that a project goes as well as this one did. From the very beginning, you and your superintendent Rick Hann, exhibited a professionalism that I have rarely found in a residential contractor.
 
There were several aspects of this project that made it especially challenging. First of all, the design of the house itself was far from typical for the Bellingham area. It required a very high level of craftsmanship and skill, both of which were exhibited by you and your subcontractors at all times. I am particularly impressed with the exceptional quality of the interior woodwork and cabinetry.
 
Second, with both the owners and the architects located out of town, there was a somewhat high level of anxiety on our part as to whether we would actually get the house described in the drawings. However, our anxiety quickly passed because you took the time to communicate the progress to us frequently and because it became evident that you were in complete control of the project. Both of the customers have told me that they always felt as if they were your most important client. And that you were totally dedicated to their project.
 
Finally, even though this was a high end custom home, there was not an unlimited source of funding. I greatly appreciate the time you took to come up with alternate construction methods and suppliers. Through your diligence we were able to maintain the appearance of the house as designed at a reduced cost.
 
As you know, we interviewed several contractors for this job.  In hindsight, I believe that you were the only one capable of completing this project at the high level expected by everybody. I would wholeheartedly recommend you to any discriminating client who demands professionalism, quality and honesty.
